Plenty of things went wrong for my team in GW18: I lost both of my goalkeepers to injury (thankfully, neither seems serious) and Bruno Fernandes to suspension, so all in all I’m actually fairly happy to have only dropped ~30K places

I was already eyeing up a ‘keeper transfer in GW19, so the injuries to Łukasz Fabiański and Mark Flekken don’t change my plans too much. Fabiański is an easy hold at his price, particularly if he’s not out for long, so Flekken - who only has one clean sheet all season - will be the one to make way for either Alisson Becker or Jordan Pickford.

They will be joined by Trent Alexander-Arnold, Gabriel and Jurrien Timber in defence.

Despite his suspension, I’m reluctant to sell Fernandes so soon after bringing him in, not least because it would involve a four-point hit ahead of an upcoming run of favourable fixtures.

Eberechi Eze and Anthony Gordon are the most likely Fernandes replacements if I do decide to transfer out the Manchester United midfielder.

Assuming I bench Fernandes, I once again need to decide whether to start Levi Colwill, who isn’t guaranteed a clean sheet away to Ipswich, or Jørgen Strand Larsen. The Wolves forward continues to be outshone by his strike partner Matheus Cunha but hasn’t been short of chances himself, and he isn’t a must sell ahead of a GW19 encounter against a leaky and depleted Spurs defence.

The rest of my front seven remains unchanged, with Mohamed Salah once again taking the armband ahead of Cole Palmer
