EXCLUSIVE: GYOKERES DRAFT 🔥

Robert Sanchez (£5m) remains a fine option for Chelsea' excellent starting schedule. As well as potentially being a long-term hold playing for a strong side, the Blues lack attacking threat among their defender options.

Sanchez is backed up by Leeds goalkeeper Karl Darlow (£4m) for now, until another £4m option emerges.

In defence, having one £6m defender at least could be wise. Having that price-point covered so you can switch elsewhere offers flexibility. In this case, due to Gabriel' injury, Arsenal teammate and fellow centre-back William Saliba fills that role for us.

Nottingham Forest maintained great defensive data last campaign. One of the cheapest routes into the defence is Neco Williams, who offers defensive contribution potential and attacking threat.

Brighton and Aston Villa could also offer defensive value this season. New Seagulls signing Maxim De Cuyper (£4.5m) has impressed offensively in recent years, whilst centre-back Ezri Konsa (£4.5m) has been a mainstay in the Aston Villa backline.

Burnley man Maxime Esteve (£4m) remains the most reliable and most promising playing defenders at his price.

Liverpool' elite underlying attacking data makes doubling up on their frontline, even with mixed fixtures, potentially hugely rewarding. Most experienced managers in the game will own Mohamed Salah (£14.5m), so to gain when Liverpool score goals fellow midfielder Florian Wirtz (£8.5m) stands out.

Chelsea have fantastic early fixtures, which makes penalty taker Cole Palmer (£10.5m) a standout. Palmer was short of form heading into the Club World Cup, but quickly regained it there.

Aston Villa' fixture list has the potential to be rewarding. One player crucial to their attack is Morgan Rogers (£7m). Rogers also played more minutes than most of his teammates in the previous campaign.

With some set pieces and coming in cheap, Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson (£5.5m) offers multiple routes to points. As well as managing eight attacking returns last season, Anderson also ranked among the best midfielders in the game for defensive contributions.

In the forward line and the focal point to the draft is Viktor Gyokeres (£9m). Many felt that Arsenal needed a striker to put them in a position of winning titles and they now have exactly that. With two good first fixtures against Manchester United and Leeds, many are willing to take a risk and hope Gyokeres hits the ground running. Based on his record, he could well make a mockery of his price-tag.

Brighton face just two tough fixtures in their first 10 Gameweeks. Because of this and Joao Pedro' recent departure, Danny Welbeck (£6.5m) makes the cut. Welbeck should lead the Seagulls frontline, and potentially take penalties.

Everton' early fixtures make them a very appealing team in regards to investment. Of their attackers Beto (£5.5m) could be the best of the bunch. Monitoring his minutes during pre-season will be key. If he continues to start he could be an excellent enabler.
