The Gameweek 6 deadline is fast approaching.

Managers need to have locked in their FPL Teams ahead of the 1:30pm deadline on Saturday 23rd of September. 90 minutes before the three 3pm matches.

Ben Chilwell found himself on the bench for Chelsea’s 0-0 draw against Bournemouth in Gameweek 5. When asked why the Chelsea vice-captain wasn’t starting Pochettino said that he wanted a “more offensive” player on the left wing. This meant that the Chelsea manager decided to start Mykhailo Mudryk instead.

At the end of the game Pochettino stated:

“I think we are going to play with Mudryk in the position that we normally have been playing Chilwell. We will play with a more offensive player and keep the back four.”

This puts FPL managers in to a difficult position when it comes to what to do with Chilwell.

Mudryk’s performance at Bournemouth did look promising, however his end product was still lacking. If Pochettino is planning to play Mudryk then he would need to decide between playing Chilwell and Levi Colwill, who has been playing left-back so far.

It is possible that Chilwell reverts to the left-back position. When he came on on Sunday that is where he played. However, Colwill has performed well in that position so far under the new Chelsea manager. In Gameweek 5 the current Chelsea left-back scored, only to see it ruled out by VAR.

Even if Chilwell does play at left-back is that a good thing?

When he plays out-of-position on the left wing, he’s a great Fantasy asset. But he will be less attacking if at left-back and potentially misses out on the start all together. With this in mind there is definitely scope for selling the Chelsea man, even with two attractive fixtures after Aston Villa this weekend.
