@FPLReaction AFCON season & Gameweek 4 targets

Hey Guys!

So I’m here to talk AFCON Fantasy and for those reading this, you are the only people who are going to see this so good job on signing up!

I have really enjoyed AFCON Fantasy this season. We have had a lot of surprises haven’t we? From great goals to giant killings I don’t think an AFCON can offer as much as this one is offering.

Anyway, let’s talk my season so far. As we can see I’m having a good season overall. The groups have been interesting and I can’t say I have made a single big mistake during the first three rounds. There was really two huge moments and both involved Emilio Nsue. The first big moment was when Nsue scored a hattrick in Gameweek 2. That was great and although I owned him some captained him! The second big moment was in Gameweek 3 this week where Nsue continued his form, scored a brace and picked up a clean sheet. I would say those two moments were make or break amongst the top managers.

Overall 278th in the world feels like a good rank but obviously I want to win! Because of this I feel like I am going to have to go different somewhere.

Looking ahead to Gameweek 4 I think there are some glaringly obvious players we will have to go with. Players like Sadio Mane, Achraf Hakimi, Mostafa Mohamed, Emilio Nsue, Victor Osimhen and Hakim Ziyech (if fit) will all be template.

Other great assets to target are Ismailar Sarr, Georges N’Koudou, Ryan Mendes and Mabululu. Now the players just mentioned could also become template so if you are chasing rank then you, like me, are going to have to go super different. You could do this by backing a back five formation, captaining a differential, back an underdog in terms of assets or back a favourite but just pick their less obvious players.

Who knows what my final draft will look like but I may go super different. Good luck everyone in Gameweek 4!
