We are finally at the end of the tournament and what a journey is has been. I hope you have found my tips and newsletters useful over the course of the summer and I am here one last time to offer a helping hand for the round ahead.

Gaining rank is everything this week, unless of course you are English or Spanish, then you’ll probably have a final to think about and not just a game for fantasy reasons.

Anyway, this week there are several ways in which you can gain rank. As in all finals there are just two teams to pick from and we can own up to eight players from each.

The above suggests that stacking (something we highlighted last week) could be super effective, but you have to get it right of course.

So in this exclusive I am going to cover four strategies you could implement to gain a huge edge this week.

England defensive Stack

I think one of the best ways to gain rank this week could be to stack up in the England defence.

The above would mean owning all five defensive players: Luke Shaw (if starting), Marc Guehi, Kyle Walker, John Stones and Jordan Pickford.

To fully maximise on a potential England clean sheet managers could put the captaincy armband on one of them as well.

If the above was successful managers would gain at least 30 points which could be huge this week.

Spanish Defensive Stack

Spain have also been really impressive defensively recently.

Some may feel that Spain have a better chance of winning and thus a better chance of actually keeping a clean sheet. So, backing a Spain defensive stack could well be another great strategy to gain rank.

If expecting or aiming for a Spain clean sheet then you will need to bring in Unai Simon, Robin Le Normand, Aymeric Laporte, Marc Cucurella and Dani Carvajal.

Similar to the England stack, managers should also consider putting the armband on a Spain defender as shown above.

Again, If Spain do keep a clean sheet then we expect at least 30 points from the backline.

Spain Offensive Stack

Spain have been the best attacking side in the competition so far so we could well see plenty of goals.

Another way to gain rank could be simply stacking up on Spain attackers.

Bringing in all of Lamine Yamal, Fabian Ruiz, Dani Olmo, Nico Williams and Rodri would be the play. If any of the Spain attackers score you would of course receive their points.

By making this strategy even more rewarding managers could captain one of the five Spain attackers too.

England Offensive Stack

Our final stack is probably the least likely. England have been far from convincing offensively so backing an all out England attack could be super differential.

The above means bringing in Harry Kane, Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice for the round ahead.

The managers wanting to use this strategy will of course want to captain one of those same England attackers to gain even more from the England goals.

So, that is four obvious stacks you can go for, obviously if you are looking to hold rank then having a mixture of Spain defenders, attackers, England defenders and attackers would be the safe move.

Good luck guys! We’ll meet again in the upcoming newsletters for FPL and UCL Fantasy !
